Learner Dashboard Updates - Genius CE & Enterprise

Introduction

Genius is excited to have launched an updated Learner Dashboard for the Genius CE & Enterprise platforms. 

What to Expect?

Improved Navigation

• Upon viewing the dashboard, learners can immediately see the courses they are enrolled in, their current grade, progress on assignments within the course, the instructor's information, and access to the LMS.

• Suppose a Learner is enrolled in a Learning Path. In that case, the Learning Paths tab will appear, providing greater visibility into the progress of each course and allowing enrollment in the next course through an Enroll button.

Based on feedback, the Enroll button will no longer appear if no sections are available to the learner for enrollment

• Pending Courses will display all courses that are pending enrollment, along with any necessary actions required by a user or administrator.  This is designed to provide greater visibility to learners and allow them to take additional steps towards documents or prerequisites.
• We have added a notification number to those pending courses that correspond to any course requiring the learner to take action, ensuring the next step in the learning process is clear.

• Lastly, Completed Courses will show the whole history of completed courses and learning paths that have been taken along the learner’s journey.  Within the Completed Courses tab, certificates and the ability to return to the LMS will be available under the menu buttons, based on configuration settings designed by administrators.

Syncing with LMS

To perform a data sync with the LMS, you can click on the "sync" button in the top right-hand corner of your page. Additionally, you will be able to see the last time your data was synced.
