Written by Faye Admin

Introduction

The Course Catalog that comes with Genius CE & Enterprise serves as much more than just a simple interface for browsing, searching, and filtering the various courses available to you as a learner.

In addition to these functionalities, the Catalog is a valuable resource for gaining deeper insights into your courses. It enables you to compare various learning opportunities, helping you make informed decisions before enrolling in a specific course.

This article aims to provide a comprehensive overview of how Genius CE & Enterprise can enhance your understanding of your courses. It will cover aspects such as course delivery methods, associated costs, and whether the courses are part of a broader educational program within your organization’s learning framework.

General Information about your Courses

The Course Catalog is rich with a variety of information regarding your courses, extending far beyond just the course titles. In this section, we will explore how you can leverage the Genius CE & Enterprise Course Catalog to gather essential information about your courses. This will help you make a well-informed decision before enrolling and investing in a course that aligns with your educational needs.

Course Description and Preview Image

Upon entering the Course Catalog—whether by default if the catalog is publicly accessible or by clicking on the Register for Course link located on the right side of your screen—you will be greeted with a visually appealing mosaic layout showcasing all the courses available for enrollment as part of your learning initiative.

Each "tile" within this mosaic represents a different course. This layout allows you to access essential information about each course at a glance. You will find details such as the course title, the delivery method, a brief overview of the course content, and the current status of the course—whether it is archived, ongoing, or scheduled for a future date.
