Overview
Price Options let you set different prices for the same section. You can create Price Segments (like Member or Senior pricing) that learners choose from at checkout. If no segment is selected, the Section Price is used by default.
When To Use Price Segments
Use price segments when you need to offer different prices for the same section, such as:
- Member vs. Non-Member pricing
- Discounted rates (e.g., Seniors, Early Bird)
- Special pricing for specific groups
How Price Options Work
Price segments are the different pricing options available for a section.
- The Section Price is the default price
- Price Segments are the additional pricing options you create
- When segments are added, learners will see multiple prices at checkout
- Learners choose the price that applies to them
In short:
- Section Price = default price
- Price Segments = additional price options
- Checkout = learner picks a price
What Learners See
When you add price segments, learners will see multiple price options during checkout and choose the one that applies to them.
Note: Pricing isn’t assigned automatically; learners can select any available option.
Accessing Price Segments
To access and manage pricing, open the section you want to update, then go to the Price Options tab.

Best Practices
Set up pricing after saving your section
Start by saving the section. Then open the Price Options tab to add your price segments.
Set up pricing for each section
Price segments are configured per section. If you need similar pricing across sections, repeat the setup to keep things consistent.
Confirm pricing before learners enroll
Price changes only apply to new enrollments. Double-check names and amounts before making a segment available.
Use clear, descriptive names
Learners choose their price at checkout. Use simple labels like “Member,” “Non- Member,” or “Senior” so it’s easy to pick the right option.
