Overview
A new account registration process is now available for Genius CE & Enterprise that enhances your current tools.
The new experience includes custom fields, display logic, and affiliation mapping capabilities, allowing you to collect even more data and ensure all the correct questions are required. Additionally, you can assign individuals to the correct affiliation based upon their response to a question instead of displaying the standard affiliation selector.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the form auto-save?
Registration form edits do not automatically save, so make sure to save your work frequently.
Can I add custom fields?
Yes! If the desired fields are not already available in the form-builder, you can create them as custom fields—these fields can then map back to the account profile and be used in Genius reports you create.
Can I map my form fields to the learner profile?
Yes, you can select which fields should map to the learner account profile. Keep in mind not every question in your form needs to have a field that maps back to the learner’s profile. This flexibility enables you to be selective and deliberate with your data mapping.
Which form field types can be mapped to a learner profile?
Currently, form questions using single-line text input, radio buttons, and dropdown lists can be mapped to the learner profile. Mapping is not supported for check boxes (e.g., "check all that apply" type questions).
Which custom field display types can be mapped to a learner profile?
Currently, custom field mapping is only supported for TextBox and List display types. If you wish to map a State field for example, you can create a custom field using a TextBox or List, rather than selecting the State display type.
What are the Genius-Powered questions?
First Name, Last Name, Email, and Phone Number are the Genius-Powered fields available to use, and they map back to the learner profile.
If you are interested in capturing data from other fields and mapping these to the learner's profile (e.g., Middle Name, Address Line 1, Address Line 2, City, Zip Code, State, Country), you can add these as custom fields.
How do I enable custom registration forms?
Reach out to your Client Success Manager or Implementation Manager. If you're unsure who to contact, email support@geniuslearning.com for assistance.
