Create Learning Paths - Genius Enterprise Legacy/Custom

The concept of learning path allow learners to be enrolled in a set of courses based on their job title or certification needs. So, for instance, the administrator can setup a learning path called “Engineer”, which would contain 4 courses, and a different learning path called “Marketing Specialist”, which would contain 3 courses.

To create a new learning path or edit an existing learning path, you can go to Learning Paths link in the left-hand margin. Clicking on “Add new Learning Path” will allow you to add a new learning path, specifying the learning path name and duration in weeks, self-registration, enroll options and which courses should be part of the learning path. . You can add new courses to the learning path by clicking on “Add new course”. When adding a course to a learning path, you will be able to specify sort order and whether the course completion expires after a designated period of time. By default, the course completion will not expire.

Once the learning path is created, you can edit the learning path by clicking on the name to open the learning path and clicking Edit in the left-hand margin. This page will allow you to select a learning path from a dropdown, and then see a list of courses that make up that learning path.
