How To Configure Term Start and End Dates
To begin the process of configuring term start and end dates, navigate to the Administration Tab within the Genius platform. This section is crucial as it serves as the control center for managing various administrative settings related to your educational institution.
Once you are in the Administration Tab, look for the LMS Terms link, located under the School Setup category. This link will direct you to the area where you can manage the academic terms necessary for scheduling and enrollment.
In this section, you have the option to either add a new term by clicking on the “Add new Term” button or modify the settings of an existing term. When configuring a term, you can choose between two enrollment options: open enrollment, which allows each student to select their start date, or set specific start and end dates that apply uniformly to all students. This flexibility in configuration enables you to tailor the academic calendar to meet the particular needs of your institution and its students.
